  • Children of grades 7, 8, 9 and 10 or age (12-17) can participate in this video contest.
  • There is no entry fee of any sorts for the competition.
  • Number of entries for one student is limited to one.
  • The email address used for entries should belong to students or the student's parents.
  • The entries meeting our video guidelines will be processed for further evaluation. List of selected entries will be posted in the RG event page on our website.
  • Top 10 entries will receive exciting prizes.
  • Entries meeting all our video guidelines will receive e-certificates.
  • Stick to the theme ‘My solution to plastic pollution’.
  • The video can be a maximum of 90 seconds long.
  • The language used for communication in the video should be English.
  • The first part of the video should depict the plastic pollution issue that the child has been facing and the second part should present the solution to that issue. The solution should be something that can be implemented by children themselves.
  • Children can use the platform and technology of their choice to produce and edit their videos. Creativity will add to your points.
  • The product should be uploaded to the children’s Facebook or Instagram page if they are 13 years or older. In case the participant has no social media account due to age restrictions, parents or school can upload the videos to their pages.
  • The post must be made public so that the judges can access them at least until the results.
  • The following hashtags and tags must be added to the post. Remember, you get points for correct tags and hashtags as well.

  • If you are taking pictures and videos of your community, kindly respect people's right to privacy. Remember that violating a citizen's right to privacy is punishable by law. Therefore we highly recommend not to include any other individuals in your videos.
  • We discourage plagiarism. Please present your own ideas.

  • Presentation: 10 points

    • How creatively and uniquely your ideas are presented?
